Work The System.

With the increasing corruption in the UK's government surrounding privileges and “one rule for us, another rule for them”,  I made this linocut  out of anger at the self-serving nature of our incumbent government's cabinet ministers, and their bald-faced lack of shame or guilt about working and bending a system for their own financial gain. 

An echo of Gordon Gecko's mantra: “greed is good”.

The character in the image is based on our esteemed current chancellor of the exchequer  - note the snake-like tail and the greasy, slicked hair….
