November at Crowley Marsh

Oil and cold wax lends itself so nicely to trees and plants. This is Crowley Marsh at The Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois, USA. The road goes right near it, and as I drive through, going toward the woods, I love seeing how it changes gradually every season. This is a late fall time, with trees nearly bare, and the grasses yellow and brown as they age. Possibly a row of sumac in the distance, with the brighter reddish color.
