Calm

This acrylic on canvas is “after Etel Adnan”, whose work in oil has these abstracted landscape ideas which I so admire. Her work inspires me to design simple landscape shapes, using various clear colors. While she used paint directly out of  the tube, I have mixed some of the colors.  This painting is experimental for me, leaning toward  the simplification of the land, light and distance.
