Over het werk
After painting so many people of flesh and blood, I was curious about how to paint a figure of porcelain. I was wondering if I would be able to give the work the glance, the bright spots. The second challenge was to use only two colours, ultramarine and burnt sienna, and white. A bit melancholic this picture.....
