You & I

You and I is an original acrylic painting combines with Farsi calligraphy and love poems from 4 famous poets that is somehow related to love and relationship between two souls. the heart on top left side portraits a dead heart made out of metal that revived by the new love. the poems are all in Farsi. The big calligraphy on lower left side is the word of LOVE ("Eshgh" in Farsi). The rose resembles love and happiness between the two. The first poem to the right of the heart says, today that I needed you you are not here, tomorrow when you are back it may be too late…..This is resembles some of the past experiences that a lover may had. There are two poems in the center of the piece, one talks about how much she loves her lover, she compares her love to elements on earth that revive life…the second one talks about how short is the life, and how we should enjoy every moment…….There are two modern Farsi calligraphies on lower right side of the brass heart that translates in English as YOU & I, which is the title of this painting.
