Cold bed.

You may have already opened your eyes. Or maybe you're just getting ready to do it. But it doesn't really matter. Because you know that with your eyes open and closed, the result will remain the same. You are alone in this bed. In the evening you rely on alcohol or drugs. And life doesn't seem like complete shit to you.
But in the morning your mind is clear. And you can no longer deceive yourself. You are lonely and your clock is accelerating every minute. And you understand that this state is most likely forever.
