Polerise, limited edition 1/5

This image was awarded in the International Photography Awards, International ND Awards, Minimalist Photography Awards, Monovisions Photography Awards, International Monochrome Awards, Tokyo International Foto Awards and Fine Art Photography Awards. The photo was made along the Markermeer where some poles (used for fishing) arise above the water surface.

Besides photographer I'm also a poet. Sometimes they reinforce each other. About my minimalistic photographic series of Dutch scenery I wrote a minimalist poem on the underlying idea of what fine art photography means to me:

Interpretation 
of a moment 
that never 
existed 
before it 
disappeared.

This image is available as a limited edition. The photo will be numbered and is provided with my signature and date on the backside. With the photo I send a certificate of authenticity. This image will be printed on museum quality fine art paper.

Deze foto is gemaakt langs het Markermeer waar enkele palen (die gebruikt worden in de visserij) boven het wateroppervlak uitsteken.

Naast fotograaf ben ik ook dichter. Soms versterken ze elkaar. Over mijn minimalistische fotoserie van Nederlandse landschappen schreef ik een minimalistisch gedicht over het onderliggende idee van wat fine art fotografie voor mij betekent:

Deze afbeelding is beschikbaar in een gelimiteerde oplage. De foto wordt genummerd en is voorzien van mijn handtekening en datum op de achterzijde. Bij de foto wordt een certificaat van echtheid geleverd. De afbeelding wordt gedrukt op museumkwaliteit fine art papier.
