On Gliese - The view is amazing!
I haven't written in my journal for months, if not years. I've traveled light years since and I am now on another planet. I feel the view inspired me to write in this journal, which no one will ever read. Everything has changed, even me, the eternal idealist. I'm now part human, part machine and a member of a scientific research team.
I'm considering creating an old-school painting inspired by this location, created with colors and brushes like the masters of old Earth. Anyway, I have to go; we're searching for old bacteria in the soil.

Scientific Data:
GJ 1061 D is a potentially habitable exoplanet orbiting within the limits habitable zone of its red dwarf parent star. GJ 1061 C is at least 74% more massive than the Earth. The average temperature on the surface is 34 °C , provided the atmosphere is of similar composition to the Earth's. GJ 1061 orbits its parent star very closely, every 6.7 days at a distance of just 0.035 au, so it is probably gravitationally locked and in synchronous rotation with its star.
