I got inspired to paint this artwork after reading Susannah's poem.
This is the original painting I used for my book "My sad is sadder than yours". It illustrated this poem :
Heal and reveal

trauma blocked out your light
blindly led instead
by your minds inner plight
heal and reveal
all words left unspoken
healing has no time limit -
allow your heart to open
