I got inspired to paint this artwork after reading Susannah's poem.
This is the original painting I used for my book "My sad is sadder than yours". It illustrated this poem :
That’s where I draw a line

abusing me from very young
hurtful words, venomous tongue
entangled in your victim game
your personal doormat, I became
the day I realised you'd dimmed my shine
well, that's where I draw a line.
