Emotionally tired

"Emotionally tired" watercolor on 140 lb paper 11" x 15".
This is the original painting I used for the book "My sad is sadder than yours". It illustrated this poem :
Fatigued

washed up, wiped out
drained to the core
emotionally tired
aching and sore
lack of attention
paid to ones self
has eroded all goodness
detrimental to ones health
time to refocus
concentrate on me
re-sparkle these eyes
re-glow these cheeks.
