Diletta Lucrezi: Urban Visions and Inner Worlds

5 August 2026

Diletta Lucrezi, known as Diluce, is a self-taught artist from Monte San Giusto, Italy, who learned her craft from her mother, a former student of Giuseppe Capogrossi. Her paintings begin with urban visions suspended between dream and memory—cityscapes and streets that feel both familiar and distant. A turning point in her life gave rise to an urgent need to explore interiority as a space of healing and truth. Through thick impasto and a palette of deep blues and warm ochres, she builds layered compositions where individual experience and collective dynamics intertwine. Her work evolves gradually from representational city scenes toward more abstract territory, deepening the viewer's contact with emotion and memory.
