Carole Carpier: Color and Form

27 August 2026

Carole Carpier works across painting and sculpture from her base in Versailles, guided by a simple but powerful idea: finding balance between abstraction and figuration, between what's suggested and what's told directly. Her practice centers on capturing something fresh about how she sees the world, diving into color with genuine curiosity rather than formula. Over the years, her work has traveled widely—exhibited across Europe and beyond, from Japan to the United States—and found its way into private collections across twenty countries, from Austria to Mexico. There's a restlessness in her approach, a sense that she's always looking for the next discovery in how paint and form can work together.
