Abstract intuition by Kirsten

3 September 2026

Born in Hamburg, Kirsten studied Free Painting, Fashion, and Design before moving to the Netherlands to fully commit to her art practice. Drawing on a background in theater and event organization, she brings a sense of movement and drama to her intuitive abstract work. Her paintings—often in series and mixed media—explore the relationship between color and form through gestural marks and layered compositions. Whether working in bold blues, monochromatic tones, or hints of text and collage, Kirsten's pieces emerge from emotion rather than planning, creating visual conversations between marks, color, and space.
