Beyond the visible

"Beyond the Visible" is a large original abstract painting in deep blue and turquoise petroleum tones — a sense of sky and ocean merging into one organic and living universe. Earth-brown elements anchor the painting to the natural world, while vibrant orange bubbles break through like sunlight and life force. Two sparrows move through the composition — light and free. And at the centre sits my small female figure with her back turned, lost in thought. She is present but looking inward — or out towards the invisible. What lies beyond what we can see? That is the question at the heart of this painting. The female figure is a recurring element in my paintings. She is not a specific person but a voice — a quiet observer who connects the human and the natural in the universal pattern that lies at the heart of my artistic universe. Painted with Golden acrylic paint on a hand-built canvas from Vindelev Blindrammefabrik in Denmark, finished with two layers of protective varnish. The painting is stretched on an extra deep 4 cm frame and painted around all edges — the motif continues onto the sides, creating a beautiful effect when viewed from an angle.
