A story about a deer. The deer is one of the ancient Indo-European symbols in Romanian culture, a sacred animal leader of the forests. At the same time, the deer is a guide to the afterlife. In Celtic mythology, the god Cernunn is linked to the motif of the transformation of man into a deer, a motif also found in Romanian carols. Also among the Celts, as well as other Indo-European peoples, the deer is also associated with the solar symbol.
