Nino Eliashvili

Nino Eliashvili is a drawing artist and illustrator from Tbilisi, Georgia. She studied at the State Academy of Arts in Tbilisi, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in fashion design and a Master's degree in fine arts. She works from her studio in her hometown and teaches drawing alongside her artistic practice.

Her work explores spiritual states, colors, sexual identities, suppressed emotions, and beauty. She works in acrylic, watercolor, and oil, and finds the process of working with watercolor most compelling for its softness, which allows her to project emotions directly. She is currently working on a series of watercolor paintings.
