Frans Muhren

Frans Muhren trained as a sculptor at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam during the 1970s. After completing his education, he developed a body of work ranging from abstract-organic to abstract-geometric forms.

He works across multiple materials including iron, wood, polystyrene, plastic, acrylic, and oil paint. His practice encompasses both volumetric and mass-based work as well as linear forms that suggest or convey movement.
