Choosing and adjusting a theme
Pick a design, set your fonts and colours, and see it change as you go.
Your own website, in sync with your profile and your artworks. Upload a work once and it appears in both places.
New to it? Click Start step-by-step setup and it walks you through address, look and colours in a few minutes.
Step 1 — Your web address
Where people find your site. On Plus you get your own link; with Premium you can put your own domain in front of it — see the separate guide on connecting a domain.
Step 2 — The look
Twelve looks per discipline, each shown with your own work in it rather than with stock images. The families:
- Gallery — quiet and classic, the work comes first
- Atelier — warm and personal
- Darkroom — image at its biggest, light or dark
- Pedestal — lots of space, one work at a time
- Studio — graphic and bold
Cannot choose? Compare side by side puts two next to each other. And See my work in it opens a real preview.
Make it yours
Under the look you pick there are switches. Not all of them suit every kind of work:
- Wall colour from each work — the background takes its tone from the image. Beautiful for painting, restless for a mixed portfolio.
- Price and Buy button on the card — good if you are selling, unnecessary if you are showing.
- Material and size under each work — useful for anyone thinking about a wall.
- Edition table — paper, size and price, for prints.
- Running line — a strip of text, for example *Available for commissions · Studio in Utrecht*.
- Number the works — 01, 02, 03.
- Second photo on hover, a different work at the top on every visit, and a frame colour in wood, black or white.
Step 3 — Colours and lettering
Pick a typeface for the headings and one for the body text; a preview shows your own name in it. Then a colour tone, or set two colours yourself: an accent, and one for the bands and tagline.
Leave it as it is and you still have a good-looking site. These are for when you want it to feel like yours.
