Tiamat and Hippocampus

This mosaic combines the ancient power of Tiamat with the graceful dynamism of the Hippocampus, blending two iconic figures of ancient mythology. Tiamat is depicted and formulated as a rising elemental force, shaped by fluid lines and warm textures that evoke the chaos and creation of Mesopotamian cosmology. The Hippocampus there represents the elegance of ancient marine imagery with the movement of legendary sea creatures and the fluidity of their emergence, along with mosaics in oceanic tones.
