Mislina MALKOÇ

Mislina Malkoç, is a contemporary artist based in Türkiye, currently pursuing her master’s degree in Painting at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, where she also completed her undergraduate studies. Her artistic practice spans mosaic, painting, and digital illustration, with a particular focus on mythological imagery, ancient iconography, and the aesthetic traditions of Mediterranean and Mesopotamian cultures.

Drawing inspiration from archaeological narratives and mythic symbolism—especially the figure of Tiamat, apotropaic creatures, and fantastical marine beings, reinterprets historical motifs through a modern visual language. Her work is characterized by meticulous detail, layered textures, and a strong sense of narrative depth. She merges traditional mosaic techniques with contemporary approaches to form, color, and composition, creating artworks that bridge the past with the present.
