Connecting your own domain
Claim a domain or connect one you already own.
Your own name in the address bar instead of a shared link. It comes with Premium, and the first year of the domain is included.
Claiming a new domain
- Open My website in your dashboard.
- Go to your web address and search for your name.
- Pick the one you want and claim it with one click.
Registration, connection and the security certificate happen automatically. You do not have to touch a DNS setting. Give it a few minutes and your site answers on the new address.
A domain you already own
Have one already? Tell us and we connect it. The site keeps working while we do it — we set everything up first and only switch at the end.
If mail runs on that domain, say so before we start. Mail and website are separate things, but they live in the same settings, and it is far easier to keep mail running than to repair it afterwards.
What it costs
The first year is included with Premium. After that the domain renews at its own annual price, shown in your account as a small add-on next to your plan.
An address on that domain
Once a domain is yours you can also have mail on it — you@yourdomain.com instead of a free webmail address. See the email guides for how to send from it using the inbox you already use.
