Danny Boyle's Ink opens Venice Film Festival — Venice Biennale

The 83rd Biennale Cinema 2026 (September 2-12, 2026) will open with the world premiere of Ink, directed by Danny Boyle. The film screens September 2 in the Sala Grande of the Palazzo del Cinema, followed by the opening ceremony.
George Clooney and Ellen Burstyn will each receive the Leone d'oro alla carriera (Golden Lion for Career Achievement) during this edition. The festival runs through September 12, 2026.
