Artissima, established in 1994, confirms its position as Italy's premier contemporary art fair. The 2026 edition runs October 30 through November 1 in Turin, maintaining the fair's reputation for balancing international market presence with rigorous experimentation and artistic research.
The fair operates through multiple curated sections, each guided by respected curators. The Present Future section is led by Léon Kruijswijk (Performance Curator at Mudam Luxembourg) and Joel Valabrega (curator based in Porto and Milan). The Back to the Future section features Jacopo Crivelli Visconti (independent curator based in São Paulo) and Heike Munder (independent curator and writer). The Disegni section is curated by Irina Zucca Alessandrelli, who oversees the Ramo Collection's 20th and 21st century Italian drawings since 2013.
Special projects for the edition include Artissima Junior, WoW – Worlds of Words, The screen is a muscle, and MADE IN vol.4, alongside artist residencies and literary dialogue initiatives.
