ARCOlisboa 2026 returns with curated sections on art histories — ARCOlisboa
ARCOlisboa returns for its ninth edition from 20 to 23 May 2027, hosted at Cordoaria Nacional in Lisbon. The fair will bring together 83 galleries from 17 countries, presenting 470 artists and attracting over 190 collectors and professionals.
Two curated sections shape this edition. Opening Lisboa, curated by Sofía Lanusse and Diogo Pinto, promotes new artistic languages and emerging spaces for discovery and research. The special project Archipelago of Art Histories, led by curator Cosmin Costinaș, explores inherited lineages and forms of knowledge within contemporary artistic practice.
The General Programme, the fair's central core, gathers national and international galleries selected by the Organising Committee for their commitment to quality and artistic excellence. ARCOlisboa will open with an exclusive professional day before opening to the general public.
