Monet's water lilies wrapped around two oval rooms, exactly as he intended.

Monet designed these eight panels for these two rooms and gave them to France the day after the armistice in 1918. Downstairs, the Walter-Guillaume collection holds Cézanne, Renoir and Soutine.
