Your email on your phone
iPhone and Android, using IMAP.
Your address on your phone, next to the mail you already get there.
You need your address and its password. Both phones take the same servers; only the menus differ.
iPhone
- Open Settings and scroll to Mail.
- Tap Accounts, then Add Account, then Other.
- Tap Add Mail Account and fill in your name, your address, the password and a description.
- On the next screen choose IMAP and fill in:

imap.migadu.com - Outgoing Mail Server, Host Name:
smtp.migadu.com - Username: your full email address, both times
- Save, then open Mail and check that a message comes in.
Android
- Open Settings, then Accounts, then Add account.
- Choose Personal (IMAP).
- Type your address and tap Manual setup, then Personal (IMAP) again.
- Enter your password, then the servers:

smtp.migadu.com, security SSL/TLS, port465 - Turn on *authentication required for sending*
- Username and password, both times, are the same as above
One thing worth deciding first
On a phone it is tempting to add the account and then never look at it, because your real mail lives in another app. If that sounds like you, ask us to forward the address to your usual inbox instead — then it just arrives where you already read, and there is nothing to install.
