How Long is the title, taken from the first lines of a Psalm 13 of the Bible. These words express my own feelings, and those of many, about the ongoing bombings and attacks on citizens of Syria. I had seen photographs of these people, including children, escaping the collapsing buildings, so portrayed them here. I found the photos online with no photographers' names. I have used a few of those images from various sources and attached them to the painting in a collage manner. I learned about this horror because a little girl, Bana Alabed, who wrote online about daily bombings. She drew me into the catastrophe of war. Fortunately, her family eventually escaped to Turkey, and she and her 2 brothers are going to school. Shipping cost is included with the price here. If in US, the price may be discounted due to proximity. #Syria #SyriaWar #SyriaBombings #Bombings #BanaAlabed
