Dancing Goddesses Before the beginning of our era, goddesses symbolized life on earth. In the Dancing Goddesses series, I have developed contemporary and forgotten goddesses. Due to the banishment of goddesses after conversions, goddess worship disappeared. Only a few female saints, including the Virgin Mary, still play a role, which is very rare compered to the countless goddesses among the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Romans and Celts.
