Against Myself

There are moments when staying where we are feels like the safest choice, yet something inside us keeps pushing us elsewhere. Two opposing forces pull us in different directions: the mind tries to protect us by holding us within what we know, while a deeper impulse urges us to change, take a risk and transform. Against Myself comes to life in that space of tension where we become both our own limit and our own possibility. It is the silent conflict between who we have been and who we feel we could become: an inner struggle that can shake us, paralyse us, or change the course of our lives forever. The artwork is part of the Enigma project, through which I explore the human psyche and human dynamics. It is made with acrylic paint and textured pastes, with gold and bronze details. It is already stretched and ready to hang. The shipment will be insured. For shipments outside the European Union, please allow an additional 2 weeks for customs documentation (Cultural Heritage validation). Any import taxes or customs duties are the responsibility of the buyer, according to the regulations of the destination country.
