Mina

This unique, handmade artwork is a 25x scaled-down version of the large, monumental outdoor sculpture along Nettelhorsterweg (N825). The sculpture is inspired by the legendary cow Mina of dairy farmer John Koeleman from the hamlet of Kulsdom. In her nearly 16-year life, this special cow produced no less than 100,000 kg of milk of exceptional quality. She symbolizes the agricultural pride of the region and the Nettelhorsterweg as 'Milky Way' - the vital link along which milk trucks travel daily between the dairy factories.
