‘Second Life’ explores the invisible patterns that shape existence. The universe is built upon rhythms and repetition. Day after day, the sun gives way to the moon before returning once again. Human lives follow similar paths, woven from routines, habits and familiar gestures. Yet within these repeating cycles, a few rare moments leave a permanent mark on our memory. They reveal our strengths, expose our vulnerabilities, and quietly shape who we become. Crafted from papier-mâché and gold leaf, this piece embodies the dialogue between opposites: the raw, matte and organic texture of paper contrasts with the luminous precision of gold. Beneath apparent chaos, a hidden geometry emerges, reminding us that repetition is not monotony—it is the foundation upon which every unique life is built. Thousands of repeated gestures brought this work to life, reflecting its very meaning.
