Quite recently, on a short trip, I wandered into an abandoned church. It turns out there are some in the very center of Europe. Emotionally it was so strong and so unbearable. The church itself has long existed as an art object. And this fallen chandelier exists in this context as a powerful and very deep metaphor. The fall of light, the fall of morals, the fall of the level of humanity and faith itself. The atmosphere is what keeps it going. Feeling of abandonment and emptiness. The dust of the ages mingled with the uncertainty of existence. This is probably my tenth chandelier. I will continue.
