This unique, handcrafted artwork is a 25x reduced version of the large, monumental outdoor sculpture along the Nettelhorsterweg (N825). The sculpture is inspired by the legendary brown stallion Verdi TN from Team Nijhof at Kulsdom. Verdi belongs to the absolute world top of show jumping horses and won Olympic silver in London, among other things. The statue symbolizes international equestrian sports and breeding in the region. Placed along the long, straight stretch of the road, Verdi’s slender and powerful figure reminds passersby to stay focused and not race past each other.
