I did a photo shoot of the library here and upon entering I saw this staircase ..... The library is still today furnished as a humanistic, 17th century private library. With high shelves, filled with books arranged according to format, lecterns, globes and busts. The wooden busts on the lecterns represent saints and popes. The plaster busts on the bookshelves depict the heads of Greek and Roman scholars and emperors.
