"Reflections LXVI. New York" is part of the project "Urban Identities", cities I have inhabited, transited, visited, or known, where at times, I seek out hidden places and corners of them, a little more concealed and less recognizable, especially for those who do not know that city, and thus become anonymous to them, but very well known to those who inhabit them. In this series, cities like Madrid, London, New York, Edinburgh, Murcia, Cartagena, or Cádiz can be seen. In all of them, in all my urban representations, the scenes always appear surprisingly silent, however, the inhabitants are always present, so the scenes are never found deserted, but rather immersed in a halo of silence and solitude. A real but imaginary space at the same time, accentuated in series like "Nocturnes" where, thanks to those strong contrasts of light and shadow, a mysterious moment is shown.
