I am the Earth and the Earth is me

"I am the Earth and the Earth is me" watercolor on 140 lb paper 11" x 15". If the Earth /mother Nature would be a person, this is how she would look like . She is beautiful, of course. But she looks sad and asking for love, care. This poem by Donna describes it nicely: Earth's Heartbeat Destructive to creation To our mother Earth Her heartbeat is surly fading Through the concoctions of our curse Our track record is really against us With all this pollution and felling of trees Through ignorance and selfishness We have brought her to her knees The impact of global warming Speaks of total doom and gloom We may well pay the price in the future If we don't do something soon.
