Magpie 25. Through the Blue-Black Medium: Acrylic and pigment on paper About the work: In this piece, the magpies have left earthly gravity behind. We see them from three perspectives at once—the back, the belly, and the profile—as a three-dimensional choreography in a boundless space. The white landscape acts as a transparent veil, revealing a star system of the deepest blue-black. The magpies are no longer mere figures against a background; they are the sky. Through their bodies, a milky way of light and shadow emerges. As a choreographer, I perceive the space not as a backdrop, but as an active part of the movement. It is an androgynous transformation where the boundary between the inner and outer dissolves. In the Zero Point, the magpie carries the entire universe within.
