"Desert" to me is synonymous with a very abstract, vast, indefinite space, or sometimes even emptiness. Maybe, it is an emptiness in our heart, in our mind, around us. However, whatever it is, this mystical space is amazingly beautiful in its natural, original form, with its dunes, barns, and breathtaking horizons. The text in this work is taken from my own poem. The title of the poem is "Harmatan", which is a seasonal wind that blows from the Sahara Desert to West Africa.
