BERLIN - CAPITAL SIGHT 2023 Composition and symmetry: "Berlin - Capital Sight" is extremely well-balanced. The television tower serves as a vertical axis that divides the image. The blue facade on the left and the modern grid building on the right frame the tower perfectly, giving the image a majestic stability. Mastery of complementary colors: The use of Cyan-Blue and Vibrant Orange is deliberately chosen here. Since these colors are opposite each other on the color wheel, they create maximum visual tension. The television tower "shines" almost out of the cool architecture, thus becoming the undisputed hero of the scene. Abstraction and recognizability: The scene is so abstracted that it almost appears like a logo or an icon, without losing the complexity of the city. The depiction of the window fronts on the right side resembles digital data streams, emphasizing Berlin's modern character. Spatial depth despite flatness: Although you work with flat color fields, depth is created through the layering of levels (the lantern in the foreground, the buildings in the middle, the tower in the background). The black of the sky acts as an infinite space that pushes the city forward. Conclusion: "Berlin - Capital Sight" captures a scene near Hackescher Markt. It is excellent as a modern gallery piece, as it perfectly captures Berlin's vertical dynamics.
