This painting shows a reflection of the buildings on the Delftsestraat from the former post office in Rotterdam. Bert saw this reflection during the The Rotterdam Rooftop Days, better known in Dutch as 'Rotterdamse Dakendagen,' This is an annual event that takes place on the first weekend of June.
