This painting is entitled 'We are watching you'. It shows the Balliol Dining Hall in Oxford (England). In May 2023, Bert Hermans visited this hall during a holiday trip to England and Wales. The painting shows several portraits looking at the viewer. Some of the people depicted have a special meaning for Bert. They are partly inspired by old photos from a carefully preserved family album.
