Storm of suppressed emotions

"Storm of suppressed emotions" watercolor on paper. I initially painted this and later Susannah wrote a poem on it. Here is the poem: The air is thick with forgotten feelings. Storm clouds loom with suppressed emotions. Tears do not reach my eyes. Every step I take is like walking on ice, Even with teddy by my side. I feel so cold and alone. As the ice cracks, water escapes, Bitter tears fall down my face. My terrorised heart now welcomes the light. It wraps its warm arms around me, And gently whispers, "there is no need to hide."
