ROCKEFELLER CENTER (2023) This digital artwork reinterprets the iconic 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York (the Comcast Building, 30 Rock) in a very striking, almost aggressive style. This work can best be described as "High-Contrast Digital Neo-Expressionism" with elements of Graphic Noir. Color Palette: The restriction to an extremely reduced palette (Vibrant Red, Pink, Black, and a toxic Green for the vegetation) creates an unnatural, almost apocalyptic atmosphere. Flatness vs. Structure: Through the high contrast, fine architectural details are eliminated in favor of hard edges and massive color fields. The building thus appears less like stone and glass, but more like a glowing column or an organic form. Perspective: The extreme frog perspective (Low Angle) enhances the already monumental effect of the Art Deco skyscraper and gives it a threatening dominance. An expressive piece of digital art that successfully deconstructs the architectural rigor of Art Deco through a wild, almost punk color choice and digital fragmentation.
