Menno's inspiration are mainly the people he meets, the images he sees and the emotions he feels while travelling. A few days wondering around on Schiermonnikoog (a beautiful island in the Netherlands) and a perfect journey through New Zealand were the inspiration for this painting. It was a carefree time, just before covid.
