Wyke Pronk creates soulful, colorful paintings, straight from the depths of her soul. Her work radiates a powerful energy, rich in color and movement.
"This form of abstract art helps me to get to know myself. By communicating with the painting—on a level I can't even put into words—a dialogue emerges in which many people recognize parts of themselves.
I started painting simply out of a desire to play with color and form. By beginning without a fixed plan and working purely from a place of need and inner connection, a profound process unfolds—both healing and full of wonder. I’m often told that my paintings evoke emotion. When that happens, I know a connection has been made with the viewer, and the dialogue continues there.”
In addition to working with acrylics on large canvases, Wyke Pronk also creates mandala art and watercolors, both deeply intuitive in nature.
