Wietse Veenstra

Born 23-10-1955 in Wijchen (Gld). From 1978 to 1982, I attended art academy training. Later, I went on a trip across Europe to gain inspiration. I lived in Greece for a number of years, where I enjoyed much of the beautiful nature and culture. Many ideas can be seen in my paintings and drawings. Then I returned to the Netherlands. But due to personal circumstances, I have never been able to exhibit my work in galleries. Thanks to the internet, I can do that now. The beauty of life and the enchanting splendor of nature and the cosmos is too beautiful not to do something with. I have reflected my experiences through drawings, acrylics, and oil paintings, and I hope to continue doing so for a long time.
