About Veronika Kudashova
Veronika Kudashova works with color as the primary subject of her paintings. She is interested in how color prevails over form and can affect the viewer's emotions more directly than representational elements alone. Working within the traditional landscape genre, she depicts the real world through impression, creating an atmosphere intended to produce emotional resonance and joy. Through intricate color combinations, she invites the viewer to enter and inhabit the painting.
Her work has been recognized with first place at the exhibition Talent of Russia in the avant-garde painting section in 2019, and first and second place awards at Russian Art Week in Italy. She received a nomination for Vanguard in Nature in 2018 and third place at Russian Art Week in Budapest that same year.
Kudashova has exhibited in Moscow, Budapest, and Italy, including personal projects at the Marriott Moscow Hotel in 2017 and Russian Art Week in Moscow in 2018. Her work has been shown at the New Tretyakov Gallery in the exhibition New Reality, marking the centennial of УНОВИС in 2020, and twice at Moscow's Gostiny Dvor for Talent of Russia in 2019.
