About Sergio Costa
I am an artist and professor graduated from UNR; I currently work as a teacher of Digital Art and Development of Art and Communications. During the year 2025/26, I was part of the program "Introduction to Video Game Development" at Film University (FUC), where I served as a teacher of 3D Design, guiding students in their first steps in video game production.
My entry into video game design and 3D modeling has been strengthened through specialized courses and active participation in various game jams. In 2020, my dedication was recognized with the Award for Creative Industries in Santa Fe in the category of unpublished video games for the video game Niñas de Ayohuma, marking the beginning of my first commercial project. This project not only received support from the National Arts Fund, but was also selected for incubation at The Rabbit Hole. The exhibition of this game at EVA22 and its nomination for Best Narrative are testimonies of its impact, as well as its inclusion in the Knowledge Economy Fair at La Rural (Buenos Aires) in 2023 and its presence in the catalog of ADVA. The demo of the game, currently available on the GATO platform, was awarded the prize for Best Adventure Game in 2024.
My collaboration in the project Memoria as a 3D artist is another example of my commitment to the industry. Presented at EVA23, it is a project that continues to develop with a view to its future publication.
In my personal production, I dedicate myself to digital art, exploring a wide range of styles. From voxel art and kawaii aesthetics in 3D to creating props and assets for more realistic video games, my work constitutes a constant search for new forms of visual expression.
