Paul Wennekendonk

Paul Wennekendonk (1947, The Hague). Designer, artivist. After completing his graphic design training at the KABK in The Hague, he worked as a designer/art director at several communication agencies until 1991. In 1991, he started his own studio in The Hague (PWAD), which moved to Amsterdam in 1995. Clients include governments, large and small organizations in the non-profit sector and services.

Since 2014, working solo under the name PaulWorks, his activities have gradually shifted to free work, mainly focusing on the climate crisis and sustainability. He combines screen printing, letterpress, photography, and utilizes drawing tablets and manual illustration and painting. Since 2022, he has been working under his own name as an artist/artivist.
